The Paddock Chevrolet Splash Park project is a 7,000+ square foot vortex kidney bean-shaped splash park featuring a large, elevated water play structure. The project entails the demolition of existing park facilities, including ball fields, and the installation of the splash pad, sun deck, bathhouse, pump room, and associated utilities. Our role was to produce and coordinate the NYS DOH permit application for the UV and Sand filter recirculation system, which inherently included a project design review on behalf of the Town. Jason Havens was the first person to successfully produce a design package to receive NYS DOH approval for a splash pad recirculation system in the western part of New York State. As a result, the Town of Tonawanda called on him and the team at Waves to assist in expediting the permit production and coordination process with the NYS and Erie County DOH.
